New, Sweet Ride

I bought this 2006 Yamaha Vino 125 from a guy in Buffalo, NY on ebay. This weekend my truck and I will pick it up. Anyone care to join us? I could really use the company. It is about a 7 hr drive each way.

Before I found this auction, I went to a Yamaha shop and priced various scooters. I really liked this model, but decided that I didn't want to spend the money on a new one. I ended up paying about $600 out of pocket for the used one, and the insurance company paid the rest. I think I got a good deal especially considering that the book value is about $500 more that I paid.

This Vino is an upgrade from my Zuma. I like its European look. The Zuma is 50cc, so the Vino's top speed is 15-20mph faster. I will need to get a motorcycle license, so that should be fun. While I plan to avoid highways (duh), it will be nice to keep up easily on 45mph streets.
