I have arrived safely in Philadelphia. Moving in has been a bit of an ordeal, but not as bad as it could've been. I promise to update more when I get internet at my apartment. It turns out that I'm gonna have to pay for it. :(

Glad to hear the move went well! Hey, just to give you an update on our mobile broadband discussion: Cingular's service is called BroadbandConnect, which I believe uses a different telecomm technology from Verizon and Sprint (reviews also suggest that it's slower than the other two). Cingular's unlimited data plan (DataConnect) is currently priced at $60/month (with a contract); then there's the initial cost of the pc card. I'm not sure how expansive and where coverage is.

I called to ask about it. It would cost me $76/mo. Unacceptable. So, I decided to go with Comcast. BUT it turns out that the incompetent contractor removed my apartment's cable jack in the remodelling. Looks like I'll have to go DSL. It could be awhile. I'm at a coffee shop at the moment.
