Pink Beans

Didn't realize until today that "pink" is a variety of bean. Hmm.

  • I didn't realize that "Write Rose" is a name brand...named for a demanding guy who wanted his wife/flower/girlfriend to get busy composing his autobiography/suicide note? I looked really closely to make sure it didn't say "White Rose" because that would make a lot more sense. Maybe you can clarify.
And a Big P.S.!!! p.s. I'll be in D.C. in two weeks--for a long weekend that starts on Black Thursday. Would luuuve to see you.

  • Dana, that's a fascinating insight. It does in fact appear to say Write Rose.

I look forward to further developments in this news.

Oh, and HI PATTI!!!!! I didn't call you back yet, did you notice? I'm sorry.

  • Oh, and I'm glad to see your quote, at least as I'm writing this comment, is from Juno. What a great movie, AND my wonderful wife bought me/us the sound track at target for about $11.

How fabulous and frugal. Fabulously frugal.

Posted photos on flickr from the Base Camp event we went to this weekend at our friend Adrienne's house.

  • Well, HELLO Mike! Does the Juno soundtrack include Cat Power's cover of "Sea of Love"? Excellent song. Plus it worked perfectly in the movie.
